Long Island 99 Showcase

A brisk April morning in Huntington yesterday didn’t stop the LI Showcase 99 from displaying an abundance of talent for grad years ’24-’22. The event welcomed boys and girls from as far as Louisiana to play with or against some of the best players around. Just as you would expect the lacrosse was entertaining from start to finish.

Shoreham Wading River “midfielder” Liam Gregorek was can’t miss player at this event. He displayed why he is arguably a top 10 player in the country. His athleticism and skillset is unprecedented as a ’24. And the scary (or fun) part about those two attributes, they will continue to improve as he gets older. The vision he portrayed was that of a college player while even showing off he can play defense with the best of them.

Logan Postel was another midfielder that was hard to miss. He quickly became the leader with his explosive offense and knowledge of the game. Logan is a true do it all middie from getting tough ground balls on the wing, to play hard nose defense. Any college roster will benefit from having Logan on the roster.
